Business Line Manager – Integrated Energy Solutions (M/F)

The Business Line Manager – Integrated Energy Solutions is a key position within the organization to support the Sales activity growth in Portugal, reporting directly to the Sales Director. This particular Sales Manager will be responsible to develop investment projects to deliver transformed energy, such as biomass to steam or comfort as a service. The main role is to identify customer opportunities and to build integrated sales offers supported on technological partners. You will work closely with the Sales Director to identify the most promising solutions and to build the entire offer, including business model, financial plan and sales presentation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in growing a high visibility business line in a fast-moving and innovative market space.

Business Line Manager Responsibilities

Identify potential customers and new opportunities

Set up meetings and pitch products/ services

Prepare presentations, sales offers and sales displays

Manage fruitful relationships with existing partners and customers

Lead executive level negotiations with major partners and map customer’s decision process

Maintain an adequate opportunity pipeline to reach the quarterly objectives

Explore potential new use cases for innovative solutions with key customers

Work closely with the Marketing, Operations and Sales teams to ensure high level of continuity throughout the core business

Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

Contribute to the periodic Go To Market plans and strategic initiatives

Qualification & Education

Degree, preferably, in a relevant Engineering discipline, Management or Economics

Skills

Previous experience in sales of thermal energy equipment (e.g. boilers, chillers, heaters)

Knowledge of sustainable solutions for industrial heating/ cooling and its current trends is very much appreciated

Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple customer relationships

Multinational experience and formal training on Project Finance will be valued

Excellent communication skills with customer facing abilities

First language Portuguese and mandatory fluency in English

Experience

5+ years’ relevant experience within sales
